Brenna’s journey with Irish dance began 23 years ago after watching Riverdance and seeing Irish dance in person at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest. She began her training with Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, which provided an excellent technical foundation and the opportunity to compete and perform extensively. She later transitioned to the Claddagh (McNulty) School of Irish Dance, where she discovered her passion for teaching and choreography. Brenna went on to attend UW-Eau Claire, where she founded Eau Claire Irish Dance and gained valuable experience in bringing Irish dance to a broader community.
Passionate about sharing the joy of Irish dance, Brenna is committed to creating a fun and welcoming environment for students. She loves to watch students discover the joy of Irish dance, especially those who thought they would never have the chance to learn it. Her favorite dance, the treble jig, reflects the power and intricacy that she loves about Irish dance.
Outside of teaching dance, Brenna is a Communications Specialist. She enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
Quin has been captivated by Irish dance since childhood, ever since watching her mom's Riverdance VHS on repeat.
With over 7 years of Irish dance experience, Quin is also a professional graphic designer and yoga instructor, bringing creativity and mindfulness to every part of their life. Known for a love of steps with intricate ankle twists and rocks, she finds the greatest reward in teaching by watching students build confidence in themselves.
When not working, you’ll find her enjoying a good horror story or movie, or working on creative projects for fun!
Lilah Barneson has been Irish dancing for 15 years, having fallen in love with it at just 3 years old when she first saw Riverdance.
For the past six years, she has been teaching Irish Dance, finding such joy in watching them learn and build confidence. Her favorite dance step is leaps, as she loves the exhilaration of soaring through the air.
Outside of dance, Lilah is a waitress and enjoys reading, spending time with her partner and their lively cats, and watching the sunset.
With over 25 years of dance experience, Megan's journey began at age five with ballet, later adding jazz and tap in middle and high school. She continued with ballet and lyrical in college, and in 2022, she embraced Irish dance, adding a new style to her repertoire.
Now a teacher, Megan is thrilled to work with young dancers and share her love of dance. She appreciates how Irish dance connects with her ballet roots, while also challenging her with new movements. Though she enjoys many aspects of Irish dance, birdies and slip jigs are her favorite.
Outside of dance, Megan is a Program Manager for UW-Madison’s Division of Extension Dairy and Livestock Program, where she collaborates with experts statewide to deliver essential dairy and livestock education to farmers and the industry. She loves Pinterest crafts, photography, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and spending time with her mule, Lou, and dog, Belle.
